The ceremony, held on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, featured heartfelt tributes from Issa Rae and legendary hitmaker Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, as fans gathered to celebrate one of R&B’s most influential voices.Best known for timeless hits like “The Boy Is Mine” and classic albums including Never Say Never, Brandy has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and remains one of the most celebrated artists of her generation.
Beyond music, the star has left an undeniable mark on television and film through iconic roles in Moesha and Disney’s groundbreaking Cinderella, where she made history as the first Black actress to portray the beloved princess in the televised classic.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce praised Brandy for helping shape modern R&B while inspiring generations through her artistry and cultural influence.With this latest honor, Brandy’s legacy is now permanently etched into Hollywood history.
