
R&B icon Faith Evans is turning personal experience into purpose, announcing a powerful new initiative inspired by her son Ryder, who is on the autism spectrum. Through her nonprofit, Ryder’s Room, Evans is hosting a special Autism Awareness Community Event aimed at promoting inclusion, understanding, and support for families.
Set for April 12, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the free event will take place at the Michelle & Barack Obama Sports Complex. The afternoon will feature activities focused on awareness, acceptance, and community engagement in a family-friendly environment.
Adding to the excitement, R&B favorite Jon B. has just been announced as a live performer. The event will be hosted by YoYo Fearless and is presented in partnership with FOTC Ministries, Heather Hutt, and the Los Angeles City Parks.With a focus on unity and support, Evans’ event marks an important step in raising autism awareness while building a stronger, more inclusive community.
