SELFIE” was written by Miller, Marcus D. Carter and Brett Nolan, with Nolan producing the track. Miller describes the song as a daily reminder of self-worth, beauty and healing.
The project also features the R&B track “DOIN SOMETHING,” featuring singer and actor Trevor Jackson. Written by Candice C. Nelson, Miller, Jackson and Marcus D. Carter and produced by Lieutenant Can, the song explores relationships and navigating difficult moments with a partner.
Miller says he wanted his return to music to have purpose while also bringing back the feel of early-2000s R&B.
